Our friendly, courteous, professional staff will help you plan well in advance of your residential move, or assist you right away if you have an urgent or immediate moving situation.

Long Island Moving & Storage is a family owned and operated company, safely moving families and businesses since 1926. We are fully licensed and insured and are members in good standing with the better business bureau, the New York state department of transportation and united states department of transportation. We take pride in every move we perform.

When contracting our moving services, upon arriving at your residence, we will disassemble all furniture as needed (SUCH AS BEDFRAMES, WALL UNITS, ETC.) All furniture is then quilt-padded and/or plastic shrink-wrapped for cleanliness and protection. We also do not require all drawers to be empty! We then load and secure all furniture, boxes and possessions onboard one of our sanitized, "state of the art" moving vans. Upon arriving at your new home, all furniture and boxes will be placed and setup where you desire, and all furniture will automatically be reassembled as needed. Our moving crews are very accommodating. If you do not like where a piece of furniture has been placed, we will rearrange the furniture until you are completely satisfied! Only then is the move complete!

Long Island Moving and Storage also provides, free wardrobe boxes W/steel bars across the top for all your hanging garments in closets such as suits, dresses, etc., ensuring those items arrive clean and wrinkle-free into your new closets!

Due to our longstanding reputation for quality and integrity, we book up quickly! So please do not hesitate to reserve a target date for your upcoming move. We do not require any monetary deposit to reserve a move date, and once booked, any change in time or date can be adjusted to your needs!
