Below are just a few of many letters of recommendations that Long Island Moving and Storage receives after a job well done.
"Dear Sir or Madam:
Recently, Long Island Moving transported Golden First Mortgage from Melville to Great Neck. I have to say that it was not an easy task for your employees. The planning of our move was, to say the least, a disaster but the entire crew you sent to us was top notch.
It is necessary to mention, however that I had the pleasure of working closely with Ricky, Lamont, and Scott. Through all of the setbacks and confusion, all three men were friendly, courteous, polite and accommodating. For them to work as hard as they did, physically and mentally, and still have smiles on their faces, kind spoken words and laughs to share, was a blessing.
Your staff went above and beyond their call. Their display of hard work and patience is commendable.
Knowing that Ricky, Lamont, and Scott are under your employment, I would be more than confident to use Long Island Moving myself if ever I would need a moving service. Until then, you have my testimony, support, and guaranteed referrals.

"To whom it may concern,
My daughter moved from our home to an apartment in Forest Hills after her college graduation in 1999. After 14 months she moved (2001) she moved to an apartment in Manhattan on Broadway and 96th St. She used your company to do this move because of her total satisfaction.
Now my son has moved from our home to an apartment in Garden City in July 2003 and of course we used you. We have sold our house and will be moving to a coop apartment in Bayside in August. We are of course going to use your company. Your equipment is immaculate, your crews are professional, prompt and efficient. Customer service to prepare for a move is perfect.
We know this move will go as beautifully as the other three and I am looking forward to recommending you to anyone who asks.

On September 11, 1997, your truck Number 24 manned by Brian, Steve, and Kenny moved my 3-piece wall unit from 24 Sylvia Lane, Plainview, NY to 55 Sprucewood Blvd., Central Islip, NY. The wall unit contained glass doors and was very fragile, while at the same time being heavy, large, and bulky - particularly the center section. This section weighed over 350 pounds and was 4 feet by 6 1/2 feet by 12 1/2 feet. It was moved to a second floor up two sets of stairs with a small platform between the stairs which required a 180 degree turn in a very tight location. Brian, Steve, and Kenny had to
remove the hand truck used to move the unit, while on the platform, and lift the full weight of the unit while simultaneously twisting the unit up the second set of stairs.
They expended an unusually high effort to achieve the required lifting and accomplish the difficult move. Their highly professional performance is acknowledged and appreciated and they should be commended for it.

As with most people, the mere thought of moving was traumatic. We packed for months prior to the "big day" and as it drew near we became frantic l On July 7th. everything fell apart. When your crew arrived, both John and I were virtually suicidal I Then we met "Bobby".
Bobby arrived the day of our move on time, courteous, cheerful, competent, and clearly in control He orchestrated the carrying and packing of our possessions with the precision of a virtuoso. As Bobby had taken over all my problems, I sat back and watched. At this point 1 must say this. I am CEO to a large company and rarely have I seen such natural management skills. Coupled with the physical labor, one has to wonder at this young man's background. His crew clearly respected him; carrying out the most difficult tasks without resentment. When he identified a task may have been more difficult than expected, he became their guide and mentor, coaching each one in a way that would encourage but never offend.
By the end of the day, all the men where exhausted, however they still maintained their courteousness, sense of humor and to my amazement, did not slow down. One has to wonder if your company truly appreciates the extra effort your employees put forth.
Thank you for the opportunity to use your service. You can be assured I will call your company when I plan my move back to Florida in a few years.

"Dear Mr. Falvo:
My sincere thanks for assisting me in my recent move from Melville, Long Island, New York, to Roslyn, New York. I have made many moves over the last 40 years and I have never had such an easy, well-organized and serviced move.
Starting with your scheduling people in the front office, they were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and accurate to make the timing of the move go uneventfully. With regards to the actual move, your moving staff, which included packing and unpacking of my large furniture and household goods, was unbelievable. The rapidity of the actual move without so much as breaking a single glass was excellent. When I moved into my new residence, it was all ready to go, except you did not leave me a home-cooked meal on the oven.
I want to sincerely thank you for everything. I would highly recommend you and your company to anyone interested in doing a move, large or small.

As a rule, people are usually quick to complain when they are not satisfied with a service; and yet hardly ever compliment a job well done. I've been wanting to write this letter since August 27, 1997 when Truck 22--Todd, Clyde, and Matt moved our furniture from Babylon into your storage facilities. My husband and I were very impressed with their professionalism. They were polite, hardworking and so efficient. We are grateful we used your company after seeing how careful they were with our things. Leading up to the day of the move, Pierra and Carla were extremely patient with my never-ending questions, concerns and anxiety. They were always pleasant and never made me feel that my questions were unimportant or stupid.
That is why I am writing this letter. If you have "Employee Of The Month" Awards or Bonuses to outstanding employees, Pierra, Todd, Clyde, Matt and
Carla definitely should get the recognition they deserve. Hopefully we will have a new moving date by the end of the month. If possible, we would like to request in advance Truck 22.

"Dear Mr. Falvo,
This letter is to inform you of how pleased we were of the team of movers from Long Island Moving & Storage that moved us on February 8, 2006 from Sound Beach to Merrick. The entire experience from the first phone conversation to the actual move, was extremely pleasant. Adeline was very helpful in providing us with accurate information and estimates.
The team that moved us consisted of Lamont, Tariq, and Rohan. All three gentlemen were hard working, professional and courteous. They worked quick and efficiently in moving our belongings and were extremely careful throughout the process.
I would highly recommend Long Island Moving & Storage to anyone that is in need of a moving company. We will be moving out of state shortly and look forward to another smooth move with your company.

"Dear Bobby Falvo:
I can't thank you enough for coming to our rescue in the transporting of office furniture to the new Parish Center. Your men were most cooperative and did a great job. Your offer came at a time when it was most needed. It was a tremendous help to all of us here at St. Matthew.
It is my fervent prayer that God will bless you for reaching out to others in their time of need.

My husband and I would like to extend our thanks and gratitude to everyone at Long Island Moving and Storage.
I have heard may horror stories about moving companies that lose items, break items, or end up costing twice what they estimated. Long Island Moving and Storage exceeded my expectations for a moving company.
Adelaide was extremely patient and helpful with me as I rescheduled my appointment to move several times. On December 14th , my husband and I moved the contents of our apartment in Lindenhurst to our first home, also in Lindenhurst. We were originally scheduled to move the week before, but because of the huge snow storm it was necessary to reschedule.
As luck would have it, the morning of our rescheduled move date it started to snow again!
Scott, Dave and Mike were our movers. I can't say enough about these guys! They were friendly and took excellent care with our furniture. When we arrived at the new house, I came into the house briefly and before I could go back outside to shovel the steps for them, they shoveled it already! They never complained about the snow or the fact that I have grand staircase to my front door with 22 steps! When they were done, the estimate that Adelaide provided me with was accurate, as she promised, there were no hidden charges!
My husband and I look forward to having Long Island Moving and Storage handle his mothers move from Queens to Long Island. We plan to recommend Long Island Moving and Storage to everyone.
Thanks again for a positive moving experience.

"Dear Mr. Falvo,
I am writing on behalf of your employees Ricky, Corey, Clarence and Carlos. As you know we contracted with your company to move our family's furnishings on February 3. These four men, showed up on time, were courtesy and professional and worked diligently to move us. Not one thing got broken, in fact they actually repaired things that were broken prior to them coming. My favorite thing if I am to pick one about these men was their attitude. They smiled, laughed and joked as they were moving our furniture. They worked well together and with us. They are truly wonderful representatives for your company. My husband, myself and my family members were so impressed with your team that you sent us, Although we are not looking forward to moving again in the near future, I wanted to let you know that your employees made it so easy for us. They really are terrific people. I will highly recommend your company to anyone that I know. I thank you so much for
operating a company in such an efficient manner and for hiring employees who are so reliable, pleasant and professional.
I pray that you and your company will prosper this year and for the duration.

On April 27 - 2004 I had the pleasure of meeting the great team of Ricky Lamont, Corey and Roberto move my family from Farmingdale to Bellmore. Ricky and his team were hard working, professional, and courteous. It rained the day before the move so the ground was quite wet. Upon arrival to the new house, they took it upon themselves to unroll some discarded carpeting and Jay it on the walkway in order to prevent mud and dirt from being tracked inside. I was quite impressed.
The entire team needs to be recognized for their "above-and-beyond" work ethic. I never expected such an emotional and tiring day to be so much fun.
I will be sure to recommend your company to everyone I meet who is planning to move.

Two weeks after our move my wife and I find ourselves still discussing our good fortune at having discovered your moving company. The men responsible for our move, Quinnie, Clyde and Scott, were nothing short of perfect. They were prompt. expedient. careful and resourceful -- all in two inches of
snow. All of our requests were honored, all of our needs met. Moreover, they turned a very stressful experience into a pleasurable event.
Thank you. and please thank them once more on our behalf.

"Dear Mr. Falvo,
On behalf of St. Mary's and also the family who received the donated furniture, I thank you. The service we received was prompt and professional. You were most generous. Adeline was friendly and reliable and the movers were strong, able-bodied and polite. We couldn't have asked for more even if we were paying for this service.
I am still amazed. Surely, Bobby, God will bless your kindness. I promise that I will recommend your company and best of all, you can be absolutely sure of my prayers for you and yours.
